As Vice President of Rooftop Capital, Scott is responsible for leading builder and developer relationships, including the sourcing, underwriting, closing and managing new and existing U.S. Lot Banking and A&D Loan transactions. Scott also plays a key role in capital fundraising and implementing strategic initiatives to drive the company’s growth strategy.
Prior to joining Rooftop Capital, Scott worked for Terra Firma Capital Corporation, a publicly-traded real estate development finance company, for eight years. As Vice President, Scott was responsible for leading builder, developer and investor relationships to grow the company’s loan and investment portfolios and its capital base. During his tenure, Scott also played an integral role in driving various strategic initiatives, including the company’s expansion from Canada into the United States.
Prior to joining Terra Firma, Scott spent three years as an Analyst with Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a member of the Corporate Real Estate Finance team where he managed property investment and development transactions including high-density residential, land subdivisions, retail, industrial, and office.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Real Estate and Finance majors from Curtin University in Western Australia.
